This list of instructions may seem a little daunting, but if you drive slowly and keep a sharp lookout for the many landmarks we are highlighting here, you should have no problems getting to Kubu Cempaka II.

1. As you leave the main bypass that cuts into the end Seminyak, turn right at the T-junction. This will bring you onto Jalan Raya Kerobokan.
2. You will pass the Australian school on the left.
3. Continue straight on this road, in the direction of Tanah Lot.
4. You will come across several small roads turning off to your left. You must turn left on small road with a sign pointing to Tanah Lot/Canggu, as well as other villas, including Villa Gajah, which has a prominent signboard.
5. Follow the winding road for about 3 km.
6. You will pass Café Moka on the right.
7. About 500m later, you will come to a stone Le Meridien road sign at a T-junction. Turn left.
8. Keep following the road directions to Le Meridien. You will need to make a left turn.
9. A few seconds later, you will need to turn left, following the road sign to Le Meridien.
10. You will now be on Jalan Raya Canggu
11. You will come across a slightly curved T-junction, you will need to veer slightly to the left here (DIA minimart will be on your right).
12. Follow this road, and you will come to the top of a hill with a white temple-like building directly ahead of you. Here you turn left onto Jalan Pantai Perenenan. This is a small village road.
13. You will need to travel about 1.7km, passing Jalan Pura Gedeh Batur.
14. Turn left at a small road with a Balinese ‘ornamental’ red concrete gateway. The road sign for Kubu Lotus Bali should be visible on this otherwise unnamed road.
15. Stay on this winding road for about 500 m, and you will come upon the Kubu Cempaka compound on your right, with its cheery, welcoming yellow walls.
